What is your guilty pleasure song? “One Kiss by Dua Lipa” What is your favorite memory from Phi Sigma Pi? “My whole initiate semester.” What are you most excited about regarding Phi Sigma Pi this upcoming year? “I think our new E-board is amazing!! New co-chairs are amazing as well and they have some great ideas that I am excited to see implemented!” What were your goals entering this semester? “Streamline attendance and make attendance percentages more accessible.” What are your long-term plans for the future after college? “Gap year and then hopefully medical school!” What is your guilty pleasure song? “King Kunta by Kendrick Lamar” What is your favorite memory from Phi Sigma Pi? “Getting close with the Phis and taking my little, Danielle Hohman, last semester. What are you most excited about regarding Phi Sigma Pi this upcoming year? “I am really looking forward to getting to know the new initiates and getting closer to the current brothers.” What were your goals entering this semester? “I am hoping to help make great decisions on behalf of PSP and to help make the records we keep a bit more organized for future brothers.” What are your long-term plans for the future after college? “I was recently accepted into a Linked Bachelor’s-Master’s Degree Program in Public Policy, so after I graduate this spring I will be completing my master’s degree through Michigan State University.” Minor: Environmental and Sustainability Studies What is your guilty pleasure song? “Long Wave by Bonny Doon” Lauren Lahie Another was inner tubing the Red Cedar River with my Grandbig Bryce Airgood and Jack Pooler.” One is driving to Philly Cup to play in a soccer tournament and hang out with Brothers from 22 other chapters. What is your favorite memory from Phi Sigma Pi? “I have probably too many. I hope to see it grow in this upcoming year.” Also Crown Cup is and always has been my favorite Beta Sigma Event. What are you most excited about regarding Phi Sigma Pi this upcoming year? “The memes. Represent the diversity of thoughts and opinions present in the fraternity.” Serve ethically and objectively as a voting executive board member acting with minimized bias towards other executive board members, Brothers, or the matters in discussion. Manage fraternal events from the onset of planning to the Event Reflections and gracefully handle grievances from/to the cochairs and towards myself.Ĩ. Be open minded to ideas brought to me and creative yet objective in my approach to problem solving.ħ. Organize and format the Vice President Google Drive for more effective committee management and continuity between present and future cochairsĦ. Redefine the Vice President Assistant (VPA) position and select qualified candidates to assist in the fall semester.ĥ. Reference past position holders for their experience.ģ. Work with the committee co chairs and other chapter officials to define fall semester goals, timeline, and position responsibilities. Create and promote the Brotherhood Survey (questions used to assess the ‘health’ of our fraternity), then analyze, interpret, and release results to the Brotherhood.Ģ. What were your goals entering this semester? “As vice president it is my goal to improve Committee Organization, Committee Member Involvement, Member Voice, and Continue Bylaw Revision through support of position holders and Brothers. The way I see it the Vice President’s responsibilities are a fun mix of things you can organize/plan/manage for and the intangible or unexpected things that you can’t ġ. Prior to that I may backpack through Southeast Asia.” What are your long-term plans for the future after college? “I am looking into graduate school. Minors: Bioenergy Concentrations and Ecosystems Concentrations What is your guilty pleasure song? “Africa by Toto is the GOAT” What is your favorite memory from Phi Sigma Pi? “Winning my second consecutive Crown Cup title #Back2Back” What are you most excited about regarding Phi Sigma Pi this upcoming year? “The new classes of brothers to meet and create meaningful relationships!” What were your goals entering this semester? “To continue to build Phi Sigma Pi’s brand and presence in the community while optimizing the experience of our brothers.” What are your long-term plans for the future after college? “Attain a CPA certification and work full time at EY as an auditor in their Detroit office.” Minors: Information Technology and Sports Business Management Let’s take the time to honor our nine executive board members for their work this semester. Thanks to our determined executive board members as well as the rest of the brotherhood, we continue to progress and become the best we can be. There is no denying that the Beta Sigma Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity is a well-established chapter, but our members are not pleased with adequacy.
